Earworms...

You know those awful tunes that stick with you, even though you loathe them?

"We Built This City" by Starship is one of those for me.

It seems that this awful bit of "music" also had an annoying enough video to have stuck with John (no relation) at SFSignal. John had trouble finding a clip of the worst part of the video. I was able to find and excerpt the wretched moment for his viewing "pleasure."

Here you go, John.

Hey, I was singing along to that song in the car earlier today. Yeah, it's mindless pop, but that doesn't make it a bad song.

Well, ok, maybe it is a bad song. But it's nowhere near as bad as Ice, Ice, Baby.

Owlish, these lists disagree with you. (And at least Ice Ice Baby has that cool riff from the Bowie/Queen song).

Yeah, I know. But still, anyone that puts The Sound of Silence in such a list doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. And Everybody Have Fun Tonight for #3?
