Posted by Fred Kiesche at July 29, 2007 07:13 AMHmm. Canned refried beans really, really look like dog food. Making refried beans from scratch takes way too much time, for something that I'm not all that fond of. I vote for a third option, canned ranch style beans with jalapenos.
Eating salsa made in NYC is like eating french fries when the French were constantly insulting the US- it may taste ok, but it seems unpatriotic.
