Posted by: The Maximum Leader at March 20, 2006 08:54 AMYay! I missed this feature. That last picture, by the way, was particularly hot.
Posted by: RP at March 20, 2006 10:50 AMGonna take advantage of this great spring weather and take a long weekend at Lake Buchannan with the wife. Know any goot places between Austin and the Lake I can get some great Texas BBQ? or any other reccomendations?
Posted by: Kyle N at March 21, 2006 05:08 PMIt's been about 15 years since I lived in Austin, so I don't know of any places off the top of my head.
I hear that Cooper's in Llano (a bit to the west of the lake) has good BBQ.
Let me know if you find a place!
Mmmm... My dad was a career USAF pilot (WW II, Korea, Viet Nam) and I grew up around all the then-newest hardware (Nothing cooler than watching an SR-71 takeoff AT NIGHT in Japan with the afterburners throwing flames about twice the length of the aircraft's fuselage): I never tire of fighters or X-planes. The Raptor is particularly classy looking.
